PRIMARY COORDINATOR

As we come to the end of the year, I would like to congratulate each and every student for their hard work and their many achievements throughout this year. I would also like to wish our special Year 6 students luck and happiness as they enter a new phase of their schooling.

Dr. Suess has some good advice for these students about their new adventures ahead; “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose”

For all of our other year levels, enjoy the summer holidays and we look forward to seeing the children refreshed, ready for many more achievements and successes next year.

Foundation 2020 Transition:

It was a pleasure to see so many happy smiling faces as the Foundation 2020 children attended their orientation sessions on 12th and 19th November. They settled in really well in the class and participated in fun activities. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2020 for what we know will be an exciting year.

Volunteers:

Thank you to all the many parent volunteers who give up time to come into school and help with activities such as coaching soccer teams, supporting on school excursions, Athletics Carnival and last but not the least the amazing job of making the props for “The Jungle Book”. I know the amount and hours of hard work that went into the preparation of these props. We really do appreciate everything you do to support our children at Sirius College and hope you will be able to continue into the new academic year. If there are any other parents who can offer any help to the school, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher or school office when school begins again.

I would like to again congratulate all the students, staff and families for their support and encouragement throughout 2019.

I wish you all a very happy and safe holiday and I’m looking forward to seeing you in the 2020 academic year.

Regards,
Mrs. Tarbinder Pandher
